whee. today is new year's eve! which means tomorrow is the start of 2006! ok how obvious. >< yepp. actually i don't really have much to blog about. i can't really believe this year passed so fast. and it doesn't feel like tomorrow is the new year either. maybe cos it's been raining the whole day. so dreary. yucks.
but anyway. i shall not make any new year resolution cos they never ever work out anyway. haha. but i think next year is going to be as good as, if not better than this year. (: haha.
and i'm thinking of getting a new blog. this one has soo many archives already. but of ourse i'm still keeping this blog just that i'll link it to my new year. if i get one. haha. a bit of a hassle. which means i'm most likely not gonna get a new one after all. [lazy me] haha.
i can't believe i've suddenly started playing neopets again. at one point of time i used to think it was really boring. >< lol. weird.

whee! today is ccao! lol i stayed at the booth till way past my shift... heh i was actually first shift but i stayed till 10.45 then had to get ready for performance already. haha. the first part of my shift was really quite slack cos the sec ones weren't there yet >< so after setting up we just sat around and played "rubbish"[haha to quote yihui, who said during all her intro speeches that we play a wide range of music, from classical kinds to rubbish! haha. what a cute way of putting it]
actually we were just playing eine kleine, and canon at all kinds of speeds. lol. quite fun actually! (x ohh and grace kept turning deannna into some sort of jukebox. she kept asking deanna to play beauty and the beast haha. OH YES and joanne kept playing toxic by britney spears. my goodness that thing really gives me the goosebumps! :/ haha.
oohh and i'm a collector of strings stickers! haha i took about 4 today. one had a heart on it, the other had a smiley face, another one had a butterfly and the last one was custom drawn by priscilla! haha it was a cuteee little mushroom. wooo. i shall find some place to paste my stickers. [other than my rosin box and strings file. :p] ohh and there were some lame but cute stickers that said things like "lord of the strings, the 2 stands" or "lord of the strings, the return of the queens" or "harry potter and the chamber of music" haha so cute right.
wheehee. but overall i think ccao was quite good (: yepp just that i kept whacking deanna's head with the bow while playing. accidentally of course, but still it must have looked very dumb to the new sec ones. :/ boo. nvm.
oooh and i went to yoshinoya for lunch and my mom bought the yoshinoya cushions! they're so cute and blue and furry! haha. ><>.<

okay so i'm in 313 next year. apparently it's a pure triple science+ geog class. wow. >< but the sad thing is that most of my friends will be in other classes :( boo. but nvm i still have some other friends in my new class (: and i'm sure the 313 people will turn out to be nice too (: haha.
ooh i watched king kong already! it totally rox! haha. but the ending was a bit the sad. lol. and it was such a long show! but nvm. i like long shows haha. (: oh and i'm still happily playing sudoku at home. and my new hi-score is now 8.5 mins! yayy. shall work even harder haha.
ooh and i cut my hair! hee. now it's considerably shorter but i don't mind because i can still tie it up and the ponytail is so short that it looks super cute! hee. i used to hate short hair. not like my hair is considered very short. (:
tomorrow is ccao! lol. and another batch of new sec ones will be joining strings! seems so hard to imagine. hee.

whee. there was this slight change in xmas plans. hoho. we ended up going for mass on xmas morning itself. lol.and it was raining some more! ): boo. but no choice because that was the only mass on xmas morning. and we didn't go for midnight mass after all, because my mom and i got *ahem* drunk. during christmas dinner. yes. xmas dinner rocked! there was honey baked ham with some kind of yummy sauce, and brussel sprouts and mini potatoes! and i helped my mom make the salad! (: whee. and there was honey wine of course. very nice and sweet ><
lol then i went to sleep straight after dinner. didn't even watch ocean's eleven either but nvm cos my dad recorded it for me (:
anyway. then i watched ocean's eleven after mass (: yayy. haha. and then xmas celebrations was at my grandparents' place >< haha. omg i ate so much till i was almost bursting! but anyway the food rocked. and i guess i wasn't bursting as much as anyone else cos i mainly stuffed myself on salad and veggie dips. they rocked! and so did the pizza! and i luv my mom's sweet potato and chestnut pie! oooh and godma bought chicken pie! (: yayy. oh and there was konnyaku jelly and log cake too. (: hee.
oh and thankyou everyone for the prezzies! (x yayy. i had a really nice watch from my parents (: and a pair of earstuds from auntie shanti >< and a sudoku lcd game set from godma and auntie pat! (: *beams* and a choker and a bar of ice cream-shaped choc from mel and val! (: and a pair of kenji earings and a super-cute m&m candy dispenser for the family from auntie rebecca! wow. thx everyone! haha. i was mainly playing cards with mel yesterday. ohhh and sudoku of course! haha. it's proving to be very addictive indeed (: lol. just started playing yesterday so my high score was 10 mins. oh wells. i shall work harder next time. (:
oh and val brought spongebob and mel brought this orange cat[i forgot it's name...was it aristle cat or something?] and bighead carebear. haha. so cute man. oh and mel spent half her time pummelling spongebob. haha maybe i should bring my soft toys next time too. or maybe not. don't want them to get bullied.haha. wheeee. went for dinner at vibes to celebrate my mom's bdae yesterday >< it's this brazilian-european restaurant. (: i like the decor! it's quite contemporary. glass and aluminium. and omg the food! haha it totally rocked! (x *beams*
like there was a lot of very-fresh-seafood! oysters! [yay yay yay] and crab and prawns and some kind of unknown-but-still-very-yummy fish. *bounce* and the salad bar was absolutely fabulous too. (: very exotic food. oooh and they had spaghetti olio olio and taiwanese mee sua, etc.
haha. oh but the meat was seriously very heavy-going. >< lolz. there were 8 kinds of meat and the guy kept coming up to our table everytime each type of meat was ready, and then he would carve the meat right in front of you. haha quite cool. lolz. but by the time we had about 3 or 4 types of meat, we were like totally bloated. haha so subsequently when i saw the guy coming towards us with the meat and carving knife, i was like "uh oh here comes our friend". lol. ooh but i liked the chicken with bacon, and the beef with bacon, and the fish. (: haha
and i forgot to mention about the cheese bread with the olive dressing. >< and the other kinds of dressing rocked too! there was this garlic dressing and salsa and mint sauce. (:
but the desserts were the real highlight of the dinner haha. there was basically a lot of mousse [pistachio, and green tea+red bean]. oh and there was tiramisu and carrot cake and choc cake. but the ultimate was really the chocolate fondue. there was this huge choc fondue fountain which looked like something out of a willy wonka scene. and a wide selection of fruits to dip in the chocolate! haha and marshmallows too. so i basically took a lot of srawberries and kiwi and marshmallow. whee (: it rocked totally!
and we ordered the brazilian drink caipirinha. it was yummy! rum and lime and sugarcane. lol but the rum taste was really strong haha. so all in all it was a wonderful dinner (x
and then we went to watch chronicles of narnia (: it was very festive haha. all that snow. and it was quite magical too (: haha. lucy is so cute! chubby. hee. oh and would you believe it, on top of getting popcorn and drinks, each of us found a marshmallow cushion on our seats! so cool right. haha i was hugging it all through the movie. (:
ooh and there was this humungous guy in front of us, who was wearing a limegreen tshirt, the exact shade of the cushion. haha. what a gigantic cushion. ><
anyway. xmas is tomorrow! wow i can't wait. i'm going to my grandparents house. another fun family gathering (: my mom's making sweet potato and chestnut pie! and vegetable dips. and wraps. and carrot juice! and godma is buying a log cake and something else[can't remember what. oops]. and auntie rebecca is frying nuggets! and spaghetti. and auntie pat is ordering 2 pizzas! *drools* it's gonna be a feast tomorrow! haha
oh and i'm going for midnight mass tonight. boohoo i can't believe they changed the 9:30 mass to a chinese mass. bahh. so now we have to go for the 12 o'clock one. oh man i'm so going to doze off. but looking on the bright side, midnight mass is much more festive than the 9:30 mass anyway. and i get to sleep in tomorrow morning. (:
i'm counting down to xmas dinner. in about 4 hours time! wow. and there's ocean's eleven tonight! and princess diaries tomorrow! whee haha.
ohh and i received a whole multitude of xmas cards too haha. okay okay i'm exaggerating. 5 xmas cards, actually. thank you maggie, valencia, denise, andrea and elaine for the cards! [haha i'm remembering them in order of the sequence in which i got the cards] hee. and a lot of them had cats on it! (: haha. cute. like me. lol.
ohh and nise gave me a box of pretzel joys! wow. thankyou nise! (: it's on the kitchen shelf now and i have to keep myself from looking at it and drooling. haha. but i've been eating a lot of rubbish so i shall just wait for after xmas before eating it. or on the other hand, since i've already been gorging myself silly, maybe it doesn't hurt to just take a teensy little pretzel joy. haha.
i can't wait for presents! i know what auntie pat and godma are buying for me already and i can hardly wait! haha. (x other than that, well, i guess i'm in for a lot of surprises! lol.

yayy we had a little family gathering yesterday (: quite fun haha. we had chicken rice for dinner! ooh and the dessert was totally yummy! haagen dazs ice cream! (brandied cherry and lychee+ginger flavours) and assortment of xmas goodies from coffee bean.. whee i luv the merry berry cheesecake! and the orange pudding! haha. and the yule log of course. haha.
haha then i was playing monopoly with mel (: *boink* and val was the banker! haha. :p quite fun. (x ohh and we were playing with potato also (: haha. potato is so cute. ><
ooh and wednesday was my last day of fundraising. haha i quite liked the experience actually. although it was quite tiring. for my poor legs. but it was fun and meaningful too! haha. and i met many nice people too! can make new friends haha. (: and i guess the pens are quite nice and cute too! i like angel pooh! and piglet! but they were all out of stock already. haha. must be too popular. >< boo.
anyway, i can't wait for xmas! wheee! (: 9 days more....

whee haha. today is my third day of fund raising for the elderly. and i sold 25 pens! (: yay yay yay. ><>< cos most of the people whom i approached were quite generous. uh huh. many thanks to all these people for their donations! and my nice partners over the last few days too (: yayy.
but duh there were a lot of not-so-nice people too. just dao-ed me and walked away. hmph. sad case. and they better hope that they'd still be in good shape when they are old. otherwise, hur hur. too bad. ><
anyway. i'm taking a break tomorrow. yayy can stay at home and rest my poor legs. i've never walked around so much in my whole life before... haha seriously. and over the last few days it was like 6 hours on the average per day. bahh. so i need a nice break (: and then i'll continue again on wednesday (: hee.
and i can't imagine why poor eeyore is always left behind... seriously. all the other disney pens get sold out faster than the eeyore pens. *shakes head* poor thing. >< ooh and i like angel pooh! so cute (:
